Matthew John Paulsen

Matthew John Paulsen, 32, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Matthew Paulsen are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church at  2:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.


Mr. Paulsen was born February 12, 1978 in Lincoln, Nebraska, son of Neil Edward Paulsen and Debra Diane Malcom.  He graduated from North Carolina State University and was a Hang Gliding instructor.  He was a member of the Hang Gliding Association and always wanted to soar.


He is survived by his mother, Debra Diane Malcom of Summerville, SC; his father, Neil Edward Paulsen of High Point, NC; one brother, Jared Daniel Paulsen and his wife, Jessica, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; maternal grandmother, Betty Lou Vogt and her husband, Henry, of Gothenburg, NE; one nephew, Dale Esau Paulsen and one niece, Stella Emma Paulsen.
