Mary Ann Young, 71, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 22, 2021. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the West Ashley Chapel from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Mary was born June 24, 1950 in Birmingham, AL, daughter of the late Mark DeWit Young and the late Doris Beatrix Braughton Young. Mary retired from Coca-Cola as a legal secretary and later enjoyed her time working for Tuesday Morning. She attended the First Baptist Church of Summerville, and was a former member of the Summerwood HOA.

She is survived by her son, Mark Wood (Julia) of Charleston, SC; sister, Jeanette Bowlin of Birmingham, AL; and granddaughter, Anslee Wood of Newberry, SC.

Memorials donations may be made in her honor to the First Baptist Church of Summerville.
