Mary Virginia Rourk Huckabee, 81, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Henry D. Huckabee, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 29, 2023. A gathering of family and friends will be held at J. Henry Stuhr, Northwoods Chapel on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm followed by her memorial service in the chapel at 1:00pm.  Inurnment will be held in Carolina Memorial Park, 7163 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. 

Mary was born February 8, 1942 in Charleston, SC, daughter of  the late William M Rourk, Jr. and Vergie Benton Rourk . Mary attended Chicora High School. She previously worked for J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Funeral home and Trident Day Care.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly H Terrell (Bubba) of Goose Creek; son, David W. Huckbee of North Charleston; four grandchildren; Seth Terrell (Caroline), Karson Terrell, Brooke Kuskey (Kell) and Kyle Huckabee (Marcy); three great grandchildren, Kade Kuskey, Wynn Kuskey, Aaron Huckabee; sister, Pamela Hamm (Bobby) of Aiken, SC; brother, Michael Rourk (Carol) of Charleston, SC; sister in law; Bessie W. Huckabee and brother in law; Jerry W. Huckabee and daugher in law; Rhonda Huckabee.
