Mary Louise Chvostal Timko, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and formerly of North Port, FL and Washington, PA, happily married for 63 years to the late Robert "Bob" Timko passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Her Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be at a later date in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 4:30 pm until the time of the service.

Mary was born September 13, 1925 in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Michael Chvostal and Elizabeth Zebegnei Chvostal. She was a parishioner at Christ Our King Catholic Church and was an avid bridge player. Strong, determined, and kind, she was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She will be missed by many. However, she was a spiritual woman and believed she would find her eternal home in heaven. She lived by the words of John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."

She is survived by her children, Patricia Elizabeth Fylstra and her husband, Donald of Mount Pleasant, SC and David Robert Timko of Beaver Falls, PA; her grandchildren, Dr. Leigh Fylstra Blalock of Durham, NC, and Lauren Fylstra of Chicago, IL; and her great-grandson, Theodore Cameron Blalock of Durham, NC.
