Mary Geraldine Adams Thomas - Our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Geraldine Adams Thomas, passed into Glory on May 20, 2017, at age 95. She was surrounded by her family in Memory Care at Waterstone on Augusta in Greenville, SC. Born in 1921 in Hartsville, SC, she married Cecil B. Thomas in 1941 and together they raised their four children in Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her four children, daughters Cecilia Sperry, Gerrie Russo, Teresa Snipes, and her son, Louie Thomas. Her grandchildren include Doug, Kevin, and Kim Sperry, Tonya Russo Robertson and Carson and Lizzie Snipes. Great grandchildren are Rachel Sandro, Jamie, Trish, Katrina, and Darnell Sperry, as well as Miles, Jordan, and Elsie Lyn Snipes. Joey Sandro and De' Marion Sperry are great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her younger sister, Mary Margaret Snipes, and her sisters-in-law, Ollie Mae Harrelson and Eleanor Morgan.

The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
