TRIBUTES ONLY A Memorial Service for Mary Brennen Fanning Taylor, 70, wife of the late Warley Graham Taylor will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 27, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Taylor died on Friday, September 21, 2018. Born August 24, 1948 in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of the late Fred Randolph "Tony" Fanning, Jr., and Sarah Allen Johnston Fanning. She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was a long time member of The Gamecock Club. Over the years, she was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Hills, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving her daughter, Sarah C.T. "Salley" Bradford, son-in-law Brian R. Bradford, granddaughter, MaryBeth Bradford, special cousins: Brennen J. Williams, McRae B. Johnston, III, Dee Johnston, Harry T. Heizer, Deborah D. Heizer, Sarah J. Ball; half- brother, Kenneth Sosna; half-sisters, Sharon Ellington (Carl Rod) and Janet Ruth Sosna (Alex Ivey). She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred R. "Freddie" Fanning, III.
