Mary Kate Staley, 76, of Charleston, SC, wife of Paul R. Staley, MD died Sunday April 5, 2015. The memorial service will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Faith Lutheran Church, 3374 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455 . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial at Live Oak Memorial Gardens will be private.

She and her husband of 53 years met in Germany when they were both serving in the Army. Mary Kate also worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Roper Hospital. Her family was most important; she was a loving wife, mother of Russell, Richard, and Patrick and grandmother of Paul III, Hannah, Matthew, Catherine and Ian.
