Mary Louise Small, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Joseph Franklin Small died Saturday, June 21, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Mary was born February 19, 1931 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late John Napoleon Vick and Irene Elizabeth Grooms Vick. She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Leroy Small, of North Charleston, SC; her sister, Irene Carrigan and her husband Rod of Summerville, SC; and her brother, Stanley Schultz and his wife Alice of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her son, David Alan Small.
Memorials may be made to the Carter-May Home and St. Joseph Residence, 1660 Ingram Road, Charleston, SC 29407.
