Mary Evelyn Timmons Sheleby

Mary Evelyn Timmons Sheleby, 61, of Awendaw, South Carolina, wife of Charles Lee Sheleby, Sr. died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the graveside on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 1:30 PM. Arrangements by J. Mary was born June 17, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late James David Timmons and the late Addie Lee Baker Timmons. She was a Cafeteria Manager for the Charleston County School District for many years, was a former member of Awendaw Baptist Church and loved playing with flowers, doing cross stitch and loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles L. Sheleby, Sr. of Awendaw, SC; daughter, Shannon Sheleby of Awendaw, SC; son, Charles (Amy) Sheleby, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC; three grandsons, Michael Lee Sheleby, Mason Charles Sheleby and Travis Harvey Sheleby; one granddaughter, Hannah Margaret Sheleby; two brothers, James (Faye) Timmons of Marion NC and John (Susette) Timmons of Awendaw, SC; two sisters, Hazel (Rufus) Thames of Awendaw, SC and Judy Barnett of Awendaw, SC; and brother in law, Samuel Sheleby of Awendaw, SC.
