Mary Frances Rains

Beloved Mary Frances Rains, 73, of Hanahan, SC, wife of Robert Oscar Rains, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 27, 2023. Her private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Mary was born June 29, 1950 in Valdese, NC, daughter of the late Jack Arnold Harrison and the late Mary Helen Duckett Harrison. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. 

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Oscar Rains of Hanahan, SC; son, Brian Rains of Charleston, SC; daughter, Valerie Rains Lowndes (Rawlins C.) of Moncks Corner, SC; one precious grandson; two siblings, Jacqueline Weaver of Hanahan, SC and Terri Pope (Jim) of Hanahan, SC; and many other adored nieces and nephews.
