Mary Therese Pforsich, 90, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019. Mary was born in Glassport, Pennsylvania, daughter of Frank and Harriet Rommel. She graduated from Glassport High School and attended Business school. She worked as an Administrative Assistant, General Manager, KDKA Radio Station for 20+ years.

She is survived by her four daughters, Patti Givens (George), Kathy Koeppel (Art), JoAnne Romandy (Mark), and Cindy Turconi (Jim); 10 grandchildren: Marlea, Michael, Katie, Amanda, Jessica, Jennifer, Joshua, Alayna , Kayla, and Michael and 11 great-grandchildren Gavin, Aiden, Sullivan, Lilly, Chase, Coleman, Juliet, Claire, Charlie, Calvin and Jacob; a sister-in-law, Barbara Rommel and brother-in-law, Bud Shuster and many nieces and nephews who all loved her.

Mary was a very strong woman, single mother, who's impact on the world is seen through the successful careers and marriages of her educated daughters and highly educated grandchildren. She loved us all and enjoyed Art, Music, and traveling. We will all miss her very much.

A memorial service will be held 10 AM on May 4, 2019 at the United Methodist Church, 191 Cross Country Road, Gum Springs, VA 23065. Reception to follow at 3040 Hadensville Fife Road, Goochland, VA 23063.
