Mary Elizabeth Adams Parler

Mary Elizabeth Adams Parler, 93, of Daniel Island, South Carolina, wife of the late Edward Milton Parler passed from this earth into the hands of her Lord on Monday, August 15, 2016. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Mary was born December 4, 1922, in Gastonia, North Carolina, daughter of the late Giles Adams and the late Belle Lewis Adams. She was a statistician working in the South Carolina State Government.
She is survived by her children, James Dantzler Parler and his wife, Lynn, of Columbia, SC, Edward Milton Parler, Jr. and his wife, Bethany, of Blythewood, SC, and Martha Johnson of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren, Caroline Parler Potter, Amy Johnson McDowell, Andrew Morris, Edward M. Parler, III, Hampton A. Parler, Haley Parler Moore and Julian A. Narboni; eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of Charleston staff for their wonderful care of Mrs. Parler while in their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
