Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 5, 2012, Mary Lynn O'Sheasy, widow of Edward A. O'Sheasy. Residence Charleston, SC. Relatives and friends of Mary Lynn O'Sheasy are invited to attend her memorial service at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Monday, July 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at Beaufort National Cemetery Monday, July 9, 2012 at 12:00 noon.

Born July 22, 1916 in Spring Hope, NC. Mary Lynn was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Thomas and the late Rhoda Whartman Thomas. She attended the College of Charleston and graduated from Farmville State Teachers College. Mary Lynn was a retired school teacher and taught at St. Anne's School in Charlottesville, Va. and at North Charleston Elementary School. She was a woman of faith and a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a founding member of the Riverland Terrace Garden Club.

All who knew Mary Lynn remember the love for her husband, children and family. She was blessed with remarkable friendliness, candor, honesty, willingness to listen, keen sense of humor and distinctive style. Mary Lynn was an outstanding gardener, excellent cook and a lover of fishing.

Surviving are two sons, Patrick Andrew O'Sheasy (Amy) of Charleston, SC, and Michael T. O'Sheasy (Susan) of Roswell, Georgia; four grandchildren, Daniel, Melissa, Beth, and Caroline; and two great grandchildren, Caleb, and Lila.
