Mary Martha Whitwell Landherr

Mary Martha Boland Whitwell Landherr, 88, wife of the late Joseph J. Landherr and her first husband, Charles R. Whitwell, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011. The relatives and friends of Mary Landherr are invited to her Funeral  Service at the Mausoleum in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. p.m.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. 

Mrs. Landherr was born October 8, 1922 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Herbert A. Boland and Caroline Bahr Boland.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. 

 She is survived by her sister, Cecelia B. West of Charleston, SC and several nieces and nephews, Joanne B. Cellini (Joe) of Philadelphia, PA, Sister Mary Regina Battles IHM of Philadelphia, PA, Caroline J. Gamble (John) of Charleston, SC, Herbert A. Boland (Kris) of Summerville, SC, Richard L. Boland (Cynthia) of Sunset Beach, NC, Wade Boland (Gail) of Cordele, GA, Marguerite K. Stoddard of Cleveland, GA, Davyne K. Williamson (Bubba), Kingstree, SC, W. David Kelly, Jr. (Jean) of Charlotte, NC, Betty B. Lamb (Bobby) of Vienna, GA, James S. Boland (Claire) of Titusville, FL and Raymond G. Boland (Barbara) of Cordele, GA. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Restoration Fund, 5 Clifford Street, Charleston, SC 29401 and/or Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Road, Suite 46, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
