Mary Ellen Lebby Inman, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Otha Enwood Inman, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 7, 2015. A private funeral service will be held in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, followed by a private entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mary was born July 9, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Robert Lebby and Mamie DeMars Lebby. She was a homemaker and a member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Chiappardi (John) of Isle of Palms, SC; her sons, David W.Johnston (Jannett Boyd) of Johns Island, SC, Terry L. Johnston (Terry Horne) of Union,SC; Lowell G. Johnston ll of Summerville, SC; and Otha E. Inman of Greenville, SC; her brother, Robert Lebby, Jr. (Sylvia) of Hanahan, SC; and ten grandchildren, Lindsay Hendrix, Brent Johnston, Megan Nankivel, Alex Johnston, Brooke Johnston, John Chiappardi, III (Mary Huller), Christina Chiappardi, Michelle Chiappardi, Rachel Chiappardi and Tyler Inman. There are five great grandchildren, a niece Sharon Jones (Charles), two nephews Robert Lebby III and Stephen Lebby (Annette).
Memorials may be made to Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412 and or the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
