Mary Taylor Horton

Mary Taylor Horton, 92, of Summerville, SC, widow of Vernon Morris Horton, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 noon. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.

Mrs. Horton was born October 16, 1920 in McClellanville, SC, daughter of the late Robert Gant Taylor and the late Catherine Cumbee Taylor. She was a member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Julian Taylor and his wife Ruth; nieces: Barbara Allen, her husband Randall and their 3 children; Gayle Smith and her husband Fred; Linda Baxley, her husband Leonard and their 2 children; Joan Dumont, her husband Roger and their 2 children; Patricia Reagan, her husband Eugene and their 2 children; Etta May Lewis and her 4 children; Faye King, her husband Larry and their 2 children; Louise Gore, her husband Robert and their 2 children; nephews: Joseph Lysaght, his wife Letha and their child; Steve Adkinson, DDS, his wife Laudi and their 3 children, Ronald Taylor and his wife Teresa and Donald Taylor and his wife Alice.
