Mary Hughes Hicks, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Paul V. Hicks entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 27, 2012. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 in The Second Presbyterian Church , 342 Meeting Street at 11:00 am. Interment, Churchyard. The family will receive friends Saturday in the church sanctuary beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Mary was born September 21, 1928 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Sidney Hughes and Mary Weeks Hughes. She was a member of The Second Presbyterian Church and the Triangle Woman's Bowling League.
She is survived by her son: Sidney Vince Hicks; two grandchildren: Taylor Vince Hicks and Christian Victoria Hicks; two brothers: Melvin Hughes and Emmett Hughes and a cousin: Leon Hughes, all of Charleston, SC.
