Mary T. Gressette

Mary Thompson Gressette, wife of Douglas E. Gressette of Goose Creek, SC, entered into the arms of the Lord on September 13, 2011.

Born on August 9, 1942 in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of Margaret and O.L. Thompson, Jr.

Devoted in life to her family, Mary is survived by her husband and three sons:  Harry Gressette (Laurie), Randy Evans (Tonja) and Billy Gressette (Sara); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five siblings:  Anne Smith, Irene Barrineau (Charles), O.L. Thompson, III (Toni), Elaine Strong (Mike) and Joyce Lovejoy (Skip); and twelve nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Crowfield Baptist Church, 100 Hunters Lane, Goose Creek, SC 29445.  Gravesite services will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 1425 Mt. Tabor Road, Bowman, SC 29018.  Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
