Mary Roberson Gillam

Mrs. Mary Catherine Roberson Gillam wife of David "Buddy" Gillam died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at home in Goose Creek, SC.Mary was born July 27, 1930 a daughter of the late Maxie and Colleen Lee. She retired from Stratford High School as Cafeteria Manager and was a member of Crowfield Baptist Church. She loved cooking, plants and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, five sons William Roberson Jr, Ray (Mary) Roberson, Larry (Connie) Roberson, Jerry (Sally) Roberson, David (Carol) Gillam II, four daughters Lynda (Bill) Thierfelder, Tonya (Steve) Grooms, Kathy Coffey, Patti (Bob) Menges, daughter in law Cydney Roberson, 33 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind her extended family and numerous loving relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by husband William Roberson Sr. and son David Roberson, Sr.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 7, 2014. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Greenridge Road Chapel from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Crowfield Baptist Church, 100 Hunter Lane, Goose Creek, SC at 1:00 p.m. with burial following at Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston.
