Mary Gibson Bragdon Gause, 81, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Thaddeus Oneil Gause, Sr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 6, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Mary was born April 1, 1933 in McColl, South Carolina, daughter of the late Eunice Fletcher Onley. She was co-owner of Gause-Nicholson Enrolled Agents and previous manager of Northbridge H and R Block in the 70's and 80's. She prepared tax returns for over 40 years in the West Ashley Area.
She is survived by her two daughters, Gara Gause Snead and Nancy Gause Nicholson (Harry), all of Charleston, SC; son, Mark Nelson Gause (Gabrielle); nine grandchildren, Christina Gause, Rebecca Adams (Peter), Juliet Gause, Bryan "Bob" Snead (Dawn), Samantha Gause, William Gause, Jacob Lairson, Christopher Nicholson and Shaun Nicholson; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Isabelle, Oliver and Aurora.
