Mary Elizabeth Croft, 91, of James Island, SC, widow of Charles G. Croft entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 in Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Fort Johnson Baptist Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Mary was born December 11, 1922 in Barnwell, SC, daughter of Hampton Haskell and Faucy Hutto Haskell. She was a charter member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Croft Griffin of James Island, SC; son, Charles M. Croft (Phyllis) of Johns Island, SC; sister, Zelma H. Townsend of James Island, SC; four grandchildren, Katrina Hackworth (Jerry), Belinda Roberts (Frazier), Robert Griffin (Heather), and Kate Bixler (Bryan); and three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Ashlen Hackworth and Matthew Roberts.

She was predeceased by three sisters and five brothers.
