Mary Ruth Cox, beloved wife of Ray M Cox died on Friday, December 12, 2014, in Mt. Pleasant after several months in a rehabilitation facility. Mary was born on March 2, 1927 to Parker J and Kate Nolen who predeceased her. Mary was an active member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church for 40 years and will be missed by her church family. In addition to her husband of 67 years, she is survived by her daughters Kathy (Jim) Psencik of Houston Texas, Julie (Howard) Hook of Beaufort, SC and Ray (Lisa) Cox, Jr. of Peachtree City, Georgia. Left to mourn her passing are her six grandchildren, John (Tiffany) Hook, Carrie Hook (Steve Quinn), Adam Psencik, Eric Psencik and Evan Psencik, and Maria Cox. She is survived by two great grandchildren, Clara and Chloe Hook of Raleigh, N.C. She will also be missed by her sisters, Nancy (Jack) Sprinkle Pat (Gary) Phillips and Brother Bill (Tammy) Nolen and special nieces, Debra Hyatt, Shari Sprinkle and Jackie Lasher. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mary will be Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00am Mt. Pleasant Baptist church with Dr. Ron Dillon officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Moore, South Carolina. Her life was well lived and she was well loved. There was much rejoicing in Heaven today as she reached her final reward
