Mary Elisabeth Coffman

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 15, 2010, Mary Elisabeth Davis Coffman of Charleston, SC, widow of Orville E. Coffman.  Graveside services will be in Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg, Maryland, Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at one o'clock.  Funeral arrangements in Maryland by Durst Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Saturday afternoon from five until seven o'clock. 

Mrs. Coffman was born on August 29, 1924 in Frostburg, Maryland, daughter of the late Archie Davis and Mary Close Davis.  She was a member of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church and was formerly employed with Latto and Associates. 

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Betty Davis of Frostburg, Maryland; two nieces, Connie Via of Pensacola, Florida, Susan Sahm and her husband Jack of Gaithersburg, Maryland; nephew, John H. Davis and his wife Linda of LaVale, Maryland; four great nieces and two great nephews; six great great nieces and one great great nephew; and many special friends.  Mrs. Coffman was preceded in death by a nephew, Richard James Davis.
