Mary Elizabeth Busbee

Mary Elizabeth Busbee, 56, wife of George Thomas Busbee of Goose Creek, SC, died September 8, 2010, in a local hospital.

Born January 20, 1954 in Portsmouth, VA she was one of two children of Rodney E. Cook and Laura Virginia Belvin Cook.  She was a graduate of Goose Creek High School and Limestone College.  She worked at the Coastal Center as a Special Needs and Disabilities Specialist.

Mrs. Busbee is survived by her husband, George T. Busbee; daughter, Angel Estelle Brando; son, Matthew Thomas Busbee and his wife Amber all of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren:  Kayla Busbee, Edward Busbee and Rodney Ley; sister, Rhonda & William Curtis Gibbons III; nephew, William Bradham Gibbons; and niece, Laura Elizabeth Gibbons all of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Friday, September 10, 2010 at 4:00 PM.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel one hour prior to the service.
