Mary Jane Wood Bradham, 79, of Wadmalaw Island, SC entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 20, 2011 with her family around her. The friends and relatives of Mary Jane Wood Bradham are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Parish Church, 3673 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, SC on Friday, June 24, 2011. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
Ms. Bradham was born on April 11, 1932 in Rock Hill, SC, daughter of the late James Bramblett Wood and Janie Belle Barnett Wood. She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and was a well known wildlife artist. Ms. Bradham was an active and devoted member of St. John's Parish Church on Johns Island.
Ms. Bradham is survived by her three sons: Gilbert Bowman Bradham, Jr. and his wife Steffanie of Charleston, SC; Bramblett Bradham and his wife, Landis of Walterboro, SC; and Riley Bradham, II and his wife, MeLynda of Wadmalaw Island, SC; and her seven grandchildren.
