Mary Ann Bowick, 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 3, 2026. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service.

Mary was born February 18, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Raymond Willis Bowick Sr. and Mary Lucille Parker Bowick. Mary loved the beach, dogs, her nieces and nephews, Nascar and anything purple. She lived in Myrtle Beach for 35 years, riding her bike to work and the beach. She moved back to Charleston in her 60’s, where she and her sister were very active in the Ashley Villa community. They enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and monthly coffee gatherings with neighbors. Mary also loved daily walks around the neighborhood.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Bowick Barlow; brother, Timothy Van Bowick; nieces, Angie Gregory and Michele (Rick) Koster; great-nephews and great-niece Jake, Grace, Ben and Alex.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and two older brothers, Raymond W. Bowick Jr. and Carl E. Bowick.
