Mary Blythe Bowermaster
Mary Blythe Bowermaster, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of the late James Ralph Bowermaster entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 30, 2023. The memorial service will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Family will receive friends an hour before the service.
Mary was born December 5, 1927, in Sweetwater, Texas, 1 of 5 children born to the late Garland Franklin Blythe and the late Ruth Withers Blythe. She worked in retail sales, at C&S bank, and Atlantic Coast Insurance Co. She will be remembered for her Methodist faith, and the way she loved her family.
Mary is survived by four children, Barbara Baker (Samuel), Jo Anne Altman (Harry), Henry Francis "Frank" St. Cyr, Brenda Hamilton of Mt. Pleasant; three stepchildren, Michael Bowermaster, Julienne Bowermaster and Jeffrey Bowermaster; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by all of her siblings.
