Mary C. Bloomingburg, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Bruce A. Bloomingburg of 64 years, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, June 9, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 in Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Mary was born June 28, 1933 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Julian and Bertha Clyburn. She was a graduate of St. Andrews Parrish High School and attended Piedmont Community College. Mary was a Charter Member of Ashley River Baptist Church, a Sunday school teacher, choir member and was a Docent at Middleton Plantation for 10 years. She was also a Breast Cancer Survivor.

She is survived by her three sons, Henry, Eddie, and Bobby (Jane); four grandchildren, Christopher, Lauryn, Max, and Ava; sister, Ruth Nan Greene; brother, Billy Clyburn. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother James.
