Mary Patricia Judd Baker

September 20, 1926 — January 4, 2012

Mary Patricia Baker, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Lt. Colonel George F. Baker, entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 4, 2012. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Monday, January 9, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 9:30 a.m. A committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Baker was born on September 20, 1926 in Fulton, New York, a daughter of the late James Joseph Judd and the late Julia Meagher Judd. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are five daughters, Kathleen Reeves of Ashland, TN, Christina Cornett of Biloxi, MS, Deirdre Baker of Travelers Rest, SC, Mary Ellison and Sheila Early both of Charleston; three sons, George Baker and Michael Baker both of Charleston, Steven Baker of Lexington, SC; and a sister, Madeline Judd of North Carolina. In addition, she is survived by thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
