She is survived by her husband Capt. Sandiford Stiles Bee Jr., her daughter Nancy Ashcraft (Michael), her son Edward Izlar, grandchildren Olivia Vedad, Audrey Bryson, Caroline Hendrix and William T. Izlar, Great grandchildren Pierce Hendrix, Kalia Klenk, Ava Vedad and her first cousin Pauline Zidlick.
A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday the 3rd of May at St. Johns Anglican church in Resurrection Hall at 1811 Paulette drive, behind the Pella door and window store on Maybank Hwy, Johns Island. Interment is at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens next to her son Thomas.
Mary Ann worked for several Government and Educational institutions in North and South Carolina. Her passions were family, Christianity, music, fellowship and the Daughters of the King , in that order.
She was predeceased by her Mother, Father, and the father of her children, (Thomas Izlar Sr.) Son, (Thomas Izlar), daughter-in-law, (Pollyanna Izlar) and Marguerite Harry-sister (Billy). She will be greatly missed by all.
