Mary was born February 3, 1942 in Baker, Florida, daughter of the late Ira Ward and the late Era Dell. Mary was one of a kind. She loved her many plants and flowers, cooking her specialties which were meatballs, potato salad and banana pudding, but what she cherished most were her grandkids and great grandkids. She was their number one fan and tried to be at every marching band, chorus, basketball, volleyball and hockey event. Her greatest trait was having a “no filter” attitude which either encouraged or embarrassed you. She also had a collection of Elvis, red birds and pineapples which made Christmas shopping super easy for her family. Many memories were made at her house with Easter egg hunts, Thanksgiving lunches and Christmas presents around the heavily over decorated tree. She will truly be missed every day. She was one of a kind.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Aledia (Hopie), Stan Aledia (Rebecca), Mark Aledia; daughter, Fran Rountree (Rusty); seven grandchildren, Adrian Aledia, Karina Aragon, Camden Aledia, Kailah Aledia, Kendall Aledia, Jamie Rountree, Taylor Rountree; four great grandchildren, Kai Aragon, Zade Aragon, Maverick Bonnie, Blair Aledia
She was preceded in death by husband, Teofilo Diaz Aledia; father, Ira Ward; mother, Era Dell
