Marvin Christopher Bingham

Marvin Christopher Bingham, 46, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Michelle Lynn Scott Bingham died Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Dorchester Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Chris was born January 4, 1967 in Kingsport, TN, the son of the late Donald Marvin Bingham and Shirley Mae Barbour. He was a Systems Analyst for Hewlett Packard and a veteran of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Lynn Scott Bingham of North Charleston, SC; children: Christopher Bingham of Johnson City, TN, Chelsea Dolen, Chase Bingham and Chloe Bingham all of North Charleston, SC; mother, Shirley Mae Barbour of Kingsport, TN; siblings: Mark "Pete" Barbour of Gate City, VA, Penny Akers (Willie Carter), Johnny Barbour (Angel Barbour) and Jackie Barbour all of Kingsport, TN; nephews: Mark Amos, Aaron Barbour, Christian Barbour and Zachary Barbour; nieces, Christy Stokes and Shannon Akers; great-niece, Paiton Frazier; and great-nephew, Avery Stokes.
