Martha Martin Kammer

Martha Martin Kammer, 94, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Claude Lott Kammer, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 21, 2020. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, 12 21st Avenue, Isle of Palms at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Blackville Cemetery at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Martha was born September 17, 1926 in Salley, South Carolina, daughter of the late Buist Martin and the late Florence Williamson Martin. She was a graduate of Anderson Junior College and retired from the South Carolina Public School System as a Kindergarten Teacher. Martha was a member of the First United Methodist Church on the Isle of Palms.She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by son, James Claude Kammer (Ragin) of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Price of Charleston, SC; four granddaughters, Gracie Martin Kammer, Morgan Elizabeth Kammer, Allison Margaret Kammer, Meredith Anne Price; and grandson, Coker Nelson Price, III.
