Martha Jordan Fields

Martha Jordan Fields, wife of David Eugene Fields, Jr., entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 9, 2011. She is survived by three sons: Robert Fields of Anderson, SC, Jim Fields of Johns Island, SC and Mike Fields, of Southern Pines, NC; four grandchildren.

All services will be private.

Mrs. Fields was born November 17, 1931 in Augusta, GA, the daughter of John C. Jordan and Mae Armstrong Jordan.  She was a graduate of Converse College and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fields was the recipient of The Order of the Palmetto under  Gov. Carroll Campell and also received the Distinguished Woman of The Year under Gov. Jim Hodges. She also volunteered at Medical University of South Carolina.
