Martha Ellen Dunlap

Martha Ellen Smith Dunlap, 64, wife of Larry Wayne Dunlap of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The relatives and friends of Martha Ellen Dunlap are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Monday, March 14, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Dunlap was born July 12, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Daniel Smith, Sr. and Edna Alice Wilson Smith.  She was a retired nurse and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Dunlap of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Nancy Wannamaker and her husband David, and Renee Hanna and her husband, Tripp, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one grand-daughter, Victoria Wannamaker; and one brother, John D. "Danny" Smith, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 508 Hampton Street, Suite 200, Columbia, SC  29201.
