Martha Jeanette Craig Mellard

Martha Jeanette Craig Mellard , 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of William L. Mellard, Sr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at the graveside in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Jeanette was born January 29, 1925 in Ashtabula, Ohio, daughter of the late David Hatfield Craig and Aura Eversole Craig.

She is survived by her son, William Lee Mellard, Jr., (Mary); two daughters, Patricia Jan Fisher of Charleston, SC, Denise M. Scott (Doug) of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren, Ginger, Jason, Billy, Peter and Anna, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Louise Carpenter of James Island, SC, and Pat Moyer of Leavenworth, WA.
