Martha Sue Brock

Martha Sue Brock, 75, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Christ Church Mount Pleasant, 2304 Highway 17 North at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Martha was born March 10, 1940 in Anderson, South Carolina, daughter of the late Melvin W. Brock and the late Emily Walters Brock. She worked as a Discharge Planner for the hospital, loved to dance, paint, garden and working with various charities.

A special thanks to Piedmont Hospice Staff and for the special care Kristen gave to Ms. Brock.

She is survived by her son, Alan Richey and his wife, Kelly, of Mount Pleasant, SC; three granddaughters, Alexandra Richey of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Caroline Richey of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Brenna Richey of Spartanburg, SC; two grandsons, Miller Richey of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Brock Alan Richey of Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Richey.
