Marlene Kile McMahon

Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 05, 2012, Marlene Kile McMahon, wife of the late John Joseph McMahon, Jr., of North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. McMahon are invited to attend her funeral service in The Church of the Good Shepherd, 1393 Miles Drive, Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Monday, May 7, 2012 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. McMahon was born November 24, 1935 in Emmaus, PA, the daughter of Russell and Vivian Schaup Kile. She was a clerk for Atlantic Coast Life Company for 37 years and was a Doe of Charleston Elks Lodge, Daughters of the King, and Good Shepherd Ladies Auxiliary (Episcopal Women's Group).

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Thompson and her husband Frank of Round O, SC; step-grandson, Frank IV and wife Brandy; two great-grandsons, Kaleb and Connor; grand-daughter-in-law, Brandy Thompson; brother, Danny Kile and his wife Kathie; and two sisters, Gail Leary and her husband Joseph, and Linda Labens and her husband Richard; sister-in-laws, Sarah McMillan and Cherie Kile; 2 nephews and 1 niece. She was preceded in death by brother Dennis Kile and step-grandsons Jeffrey Thompson and Brandon Thompson.
