Mark Irwin Seifstein, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Cynthia Arndt Seifstein, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Mark was born October 31, 1955 in Albany, Georgia, son of the late Mitchell Meyer Seifstein and Harriette Rosenberg Seifstein. He was an avid fisherman who appreciated time spent on the water. He also enjoyed fossil hunting, especially searching for shark teeth. Mark had a creative side as well, expressed through wood carving and playing the guitar. Among his favorite pastimes, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Grayson Seifstein of Charleston, SC, and Elliot Seifstein (Misty) of Ravenel, SC; sister, Adele Toltzis (Robert) of Atlanta, GA; brother, Ben Seifstein of Pensacola, FL; and two grandsons, Cash Seifstein and Culver Seifstein.
