SCPO, Mark Wade Hamilton, USN Ret., 66, of Ladson, SC, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016. His memorial service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment at Beaufort National Cemetery.

Mark was born April 21, 1950 in Wardell, Mo, son of the late Charlie Dudley Hamilton and the late Wilma Inez Johnson Hamilton. He was a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer and a Vietnam veteran. He loved his cats and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Liz Hamilton of Ladson, SC; daughter, Stephanie Amber Hamilton-Lipsey and her husband Mark; grandson, Derek Lipsey all of Summerville, SC; two step-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Getti and Janie.
