Marjorie Veida Williams, 89, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of James E. Williams, died Thursday, August 6, 2015. Her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, at 10:00 a.m. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell, Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
Marjorie was born January 31, 1926 in Hilo, Hawaii, daughter of the late Joseph Correa and the late Georginia Correa. She worked as a cafeteria manager at A.C. Cochran Elementary School.
She is survived by her son, Michael Henry Williams, Sr.; daughter, Jamie Claire Williams; four grandchildren: Michael Henry Williams, Jr. (Shannon), Gabrielle Lotter, James Heagler, and Robbie Gonzalez; five great-grandchildren: Valary, James, Michael, Aria and Isabella; and one great-grandchild on the way; great-niece, NaLani Kele; and her dearest friend, Donna Barber.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her nine siblings and her beloved four legged child, Peaches.
