Entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 26, 2012, Marjorie Sackett Kluttz, beloved wife of Harry W. Kluttz, Colonel U.S. Army (Ret.). Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Col. and Mrs. Harry W. Kluttz are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Monday one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Kluttz was born September 11, 1927, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Aaron Sackett and May Wagner Sackett. She attended the University of South Carolina and was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and was a life-long member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Thelma K. Lipscomb of Charleston, SC and Laura K. Metheny of Brenham, TX; three granddaughters Ginger Kelly Vaudrey of San Benito, TX, Rebecca Lipscomb Hagan (Jesse) of Charleston, SC and Laura Elizabeth Metheny (Ray Stokes) of Atlanta, GA; two great grandchildren: Noelle Emmerson Stokes and Mason Jesse Hagan.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Johannes Lutheran Church, 48 Hasell St. Charleston, SC 29401.
