Marjorie Ann Guarisco, 84, of Charleston, SC, widow of Anthony Joseph Guarisco, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 8, 2014. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 11, 2014, in the Church of The Nativity Catholic Church, 1061 Folly Road, at 11:00 am. The Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Marjorie was born May 14, 1930 in Southern Pines, North Carolina, daughter of the late Carl Everette Covington and Ina Covington. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her six daughters, Maureen (Lawrence) Reed of Ravenel, SC, Melanie M. Guarisco of Charleston, SC, Mary (Robert) Letizi of Moncks Corner, SC, Celeste (Euri) Moore of Summerville, SC, Majorie Faye (Reese) Olger of Stafford, VA and Rose A. (John) Crosby of Goose Creek, SC; three sons, Michael A. Guarisco of North Charleston, SC, Paul S. Guarisco and Carl A. Guarisco, both of James Island, SC; two brothers, Richard D. Covington of Southern Pines, NC and Marion Dale Covington of Newport News, VA; nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Marjorie is preceded in death by her siblings, Julian D. Covington, Carl E. Covington, Jr. and Benjamin A. Covington; daughter, Catherine Neely; and son, Anthony Joseph Guarisco, Jr.
