Marjorie Logan Fuseler

November 29, 1927 — September 5, 2011

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 5, 2011, Marjorie Logan Fuseler, of James Island, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Harbor View Presbyterian Church, Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 2:00 pm. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service.


Marjorie was born November 29, 1927 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Alexander Christopher Logan and Mary Vivian McClary Logan.  She was a graduate of St. Andrews High School and attended the South Carolina Baptist School of Nursing, in Columbia, SC. She retired as bookkeeper with Hyams Garden Center. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in her younger years and James Island Presbyterian Church and became a charter member of Harbor View Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed being involved in church circles, and through her years taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed reading and meeting with her book club and gardening.


She is survived by three daughters: Kay F. Oleen (David), Lisa F. Wilson (J.A.Pennell), and Beth F. Hyams (Andy) all of Charleston, SC; one son: David L. Fuseler (Dee) of Hollywood, SC; three sisters: Mary Overcash of Summerville, SC, Miriam Peacock of Summerville, SC, and Anne Hauck of James Island, SC; two brothers: Alexander Logan of Walterboro, SC and William Logan of Mt. Pleasant, SC; eleven grandchildren: Daniel, Jason, Joshua, Caroline, Ben, David (D.J.), Drew, Alex, Lizzy, Chris, and Kevin; and nine great grandchildren.
