Marion LeGrand Johnson

Marion LeGrand Johnson, 78, husband of the late Ealion Bell Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. The relatives and friends of Marion Johnson are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Eccles United Methodist Church, Huger, SC, on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. The burial will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Saturday, June 26, 2010, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Johnson was born August 16, 1931, in Huger, South Carolina, son of the late Henry Johnson and Anna Lee Cumbee Johnson. He attended Clemson University, served in the United States Army Air Corps and was retired from South Carolina Federal Credit Union. He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Johnson Bailey of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren, Thomas R. Meteraud, III, Amber Meteraud, Hayden Bailey and Brandon Bailey; one brother, Frampton Johnson, SC; and a sister, Louise Smith, Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Johnson.
