On April 12, 2017 Marion O. Buell went to be with her Lord and Savior. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday April 17, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Marion was the definition of selflessness. She spent much of her time caring for those in need. Marion will forever be remembered as the quick witted Avon lady.

She leaves behind her children, Donna, Patricia, Thomas, Raymond and Mary that lovingly cared for her until the end; her best friend Francis Jones who was a solid rock to both her and the family. Marion also leaves a great legacy of 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren who always brightened her days with their visits. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and son George.
