Mario DeLeon Danque

PO2 Mario DeLeon Danque, USN, Ret., 76, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 3, 2015. His funeral service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. Interment with military honors to follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Mario was born January 19, 1939 in Abucay, Bataan, Philippine Island, one of nine children of the late Fernando Sitchon Danque and the late Delfina DeLeon Danque. After his military career, he retired from Goer Manufacturing after 20 years and then worked at Bosch. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Marlena Therrell of Goose Creek, SC and Darla Grammer of Ladson, SC; son, Tony Advincula of Goose Creek, SC; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Repique Danque; a son, Mario Danque; granddaughter, Devan Advincula; two brothers, Florentino Danque and Marcelino Danque.
