Marilyn Elizabeth Lewis Lawrimore, 81, of Charleston, SC, widow of Barrett Swayne Lawrimore, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 3, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Waccamaw Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bucksport, SC at 2:30 p.m.. The family will receive friends Wednesday in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Marilyn was born September 6, 1934 in Wampee, South Carolina, daughter of the late James L. Lewis and the late Nola Skipper Lewis. She was a retired real estate agent for Carolina One Realty for over 40 years. Marilyn was a member of the National Realtors Association and Northbridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Edmond Lawrimore of Charleston, SC; her daughter, Karen Beth Lawrimore Wolla of Arlington, VA; daughter-in-law, Carol Lawrimore of Grayson, GA; sister, Margaret Lewis Flowers of Conway, SC; six grandchildren: Daniel Lawrimore, Kristen and Kaitlin Wolla, Sidney Winton, Priscilla Lawrimore, and Grace Lawrimore; and three great-grandchildren: Alexia Branham, Carson Lawrimore, and Isaac Winton. She was preceded in death by a son, Barrett S. Lawrimore, Jr.
