Marilyn Sue Johnson, 75, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 15, 2026. Her Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 28, 2026 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414, beginning at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Marilyn passed away leaving behind a life marked by love, family, and countless cherished memories.

Born on February 14, 1951 in Mullins, South Carolina, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Harvey Altman and Ollie Faye Stroud.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Everett Matt Johnson (Christy) of Oviedo, Florida; her daughter, Candace Johnson of Charleston, South Carolina; her granddaughter, Charlotte of Oviedo, Florida; her grandson, Benjamin of Oviedo, Florida; her sisters, Gwen Ridgeway of Columbia, South Carolina, and Pam Renew of Greenville, South Carolina; and her brother, Wayne Altman of Charleston, South Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her beloved Labradoodle, Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Altman and Ollie Faye Stroud and her brother, Henry Altman.

Marilyn will be remembered with love by those who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
