Marilyn and Donald Infinger, of Ladson, SC entered into eternal rest together Wednesday, August 8, 2018 after recently celebrating 60 years of marriage. Their memorial service will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Marilyn was born September 4, 1942 in Mullins, South Carolina, daughter of the late Walter Dewey Lewis and Kathleen Price Lewis. She was a former member of the Charleston County School Board District 4 as well as a former member of Charleston County Parks and Rec.
Donald was born January 21, 1938 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Daniel N. Infinger and Mable E. Etling. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker, a Mason with Masonic Lodge 401 in Goose Creek and was also a Shriner. He was the former chairman of the Election Commission for Charleston County.
They were members at Tall Pines Baptist Church in Ladson.
They are survived by their children: Keith Infinger (Charlotte) of Goose Creek, Tonya Davis (Terry) of North Charleston and Kurt Infinger (Rebecca) of Hanahan; grandchildren: Brandon (Amy), Lindsey (Shane), Tiffany (Brian), Toni (Mike), Lane (Karie), Jennifer, AJ (Matt) and Tony; ten great grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is also survived by her brother, Rick Lewis of Quitman, AR and Donald is survived by two sisters: Betty Murray of Moncks Corner and Nancy Wooldridge (Jimmy) of North Charleston.
Donald was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
